ന്യൂഡൽഹി: വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ മേഖലകളിലെ അഫ്സ നിയമത്തിന് കീഴിലുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ എണ്ണം കുറയ്ക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രി അമിത് ഷാ. അഫ്സയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള മേഖലകൾ കുറയ്ക്കാൻ കേന്ദ്രം തീരുമാനിച്ചു. നാഗാലാൻഡ്, അസം, മണിപ്പൂർ എന്നി സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലാണ് സായുധസേന നിയമം പ്രകാരം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച അധികാര പരിധി വീണ്ടും കുറയ്ക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് അമിത് ഷാ പറഞ്ഞു.
വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇന്ന് ചരിത്രദിനം! വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളായ നാഗാലാൻഡ്, അസം, മണിപ്പൂരിലെ തുടർച്ചയായി അഫ്സ്പ പരിധിയിലുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം കുറയ്ക്കാൻ നരേന്ദ്രമോദി സർക്കാർ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ സുരക്ഷാ സ്ഥിതിയിൽ കാര്യമായ വളർച്ച കണക്കിലെടുത്താണ് ഈ തീരുമാനം’ അമിത് ഷാ ട്വീറ്റിലൂടെ അറിയിച്ചു.
