ന്യൂഡൽഹി: മണിപ്പൂരിൽ അസം റൈഫിൾസിന് നേരെ നടന്ന ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തെ അപലപിച്ച് രാജ്യം. വീരമൃത്യു വരിച്ച സൈനികർക്കും കുടുംബത്തിനും ആദരാഞ്ജലികൾ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതായും ആക്രമണത്തിൽ ശക്തമായി അപലപിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും രാഷ്ട്രപതി രാംനാഥ് കോവിന്ദ് പ്രതികരിച്ചു. ദുഃഖിതരായ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പം പങ്കുചേരുന്നുവെന്ന് അറിയിച്ച രാഷ്ട്രപതി ആക്രമണത്തെ ഭീരുത്വമാർന്ന നടപടിയെന്നാണ് വിളിച്ചത്. ഭീകരതയുടെ സർവ രൂപങ്ങളെയും വേരോടെ പിഴുതെറിയുക എന്ന ദൃഢനിശ്ചയത്തെ ഊട്ടിയുറപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ് ഈ ആക്രമണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

തീർത്തും വേദനാജനകവും അപലപനീയവുമാണ് മണിപ്പൂരിൽ നടന്നതെന്നും ആക്രമണം തികച്ചും ഭീരുത്വമാർന്നതാണെന്നും കേന്ദ്ര പ്രതിരോധമന്ത്രി രാജ്നാഥ് സിംഗ് പ്രതികരിച്ചു. കേണൽ ഉൾപ്പെടെ അഞ്ച് ധീരസൈനികരെയും രണ്ട് കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെയുമാണ് രാജ്യത്തിന് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത്. കുറ്റവാളികളെ നിയമത്തിന് മുമ്പിൽ ഉടനെത്തിക്കുമെന്നും ദുഃഖത്തിൽ പങ്കുചേരുന്നുവെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
